Players
Analyse your own strokes and your students’ or family’s without mixing them. Each player has their own analyses, history and plan.
On this page
One account can have several players: you, your students, your kids. Each player has their own analyses, history, AI reviews and practice plan, so nothing gets mixed up.
The current player#
The coloured button next to the logo, in the top bar, says whose strokes you’re analysing. At first there’s only Me.
- Videos you open are saved under the current player. The home screen shows it as Analysing: ….
- Switching player with a video open loads that video’s analysis for that player. The same file can have a separate analysis for each one.
- The scan, the comparison with the pros, the AI coach and the drills use the hand and level of the current player.
Add a player#
- Open the menu. Click the player in the top bar and choose New player….
- Fill in their details. Name, Racket hand (right or left), Level (beginner, intermediate or advanced), Notes (goals, grip, injuries…) and a Colour to spot them at a glance.
- Save. Press Add player. They become the current player.
Edit, archive and restore#
In the menu, Edit …… changes their details and Manage players… shows the full list. Archive hides a player without deleting their analyses; restore them whenever you like from Show archived (…). Your own player (Me) can be renamed but not archived.
Where they’re kept#
When you’re signed in, players and everything of theirs are saved in your account and show up on any device. Analyses made before players existed belong to Me.
For coaches: in the lesson#
Racketlens is designed for a coach to follow their students:
- Create a player per student, with their hand and level.
- Film the lesson with the phone still (see Recording).
- Pick the student in the top bar before opening their video, and press Scan session.
- In a group lesson, the scan asks who is who by shirt colour: pick the student you’re analysing. To analyse another student from the same video, switch player and scan again.
- Review their progress in History: each student has their own.
