Racketlens guide
What Racketlens is and how it works in five steps: record, scan, compare, practise and follow your progress.
Racketlens is a tennis video analyzer that runs in your browser. Open a video of yourself playing, even a two-hour practice filmed with your phone on the fence, and the app finds your strokes, tracks your body frame by frame, measures the ball and puts your stroke next to a pro's.
It's built for your lessons: your coach invites you, you film your practices, and every session lands in your history so you can see what really changed.
The Racketlens loop#
Everything in the app revolves around five steps. Repeat them every week and your history builds itself.
- Record. Your practice, from the side or from behind, with your whole body in the picture.
- Scan. One click on Scan session finds your forehands, backhands and serves and scores them.
- Compare. See which pro you look like and put your stroke next to theirs, synced.
- Practise. Everything to work on comes with drills for the court and your practice plan.
- Progress. History shows, session by session, what improved and what didn't.
What you can do#
- Score your session without selecting anything. Technique and consistency for each kind of stroke, who you look like and what to work on. See Scan session.
- Compare yourself with the pros. 21 players and 90 strokes at real speed, synced phase by phase with yours, with a ghost of the pro drawn over you. See Compare with pros.
- See every frame. Slow motion from 0.05× to 2×, frame stepping, loops, zoom, drawings and measurements. See Playback and tools.
- Track your body. A 33-point skeleton with live elbow, shoulder, hip and knee angles. See Body.
- Measure the ball. Mark the court once: margin over the net, where it lands, depth and speed. See Ball analysis.
- Ask the AI for a review. Pick a stroke and the AI coach tells you what you do well and the 1–3 changes that matter most. See AI coach.
- Practise with a plan. 58 drills picked from what the app measured, and a plan to tick off what you did. See Drills and practice plan.
- Pick up on another device. With your account, your session videos are saved privately and open on another computer without the file, with all their analysis. See Your sessions on any device.
Your video and your account#
Playback, body tracking and ball measurement run on your computer. Without an account nothing is uploaded. With your account, your analysis (numbers, markers and drawings) is saved and, privately, your session videos, so you can open and analyse them on any device. You can delete them or turn uploading off whenever you like, and the AI only sees a few frames. See Your sessions on any device and Privacy and data.
