Pick a stroke and the AI coach reviews it like a coach: what you do well, the 1–3 changes that matter most and a drill for each.

In the AI coach tab, Claude, Anthropic’s AI, looks at one of your strokes the way a coach would: what you do well, the 1 to 3 changes that matter most, a feel cue and a drill for each, pointing at the exact frames where it saw them.

Ask for a review#

  1. Pick a stroke. In the strokes bar under the video, or with ◀ ▶ at the top of This stroke; then open AI coach. You can also mark it yourself: put the playhead just before your swing and press I, and just after the follow-through and press O, or use Use the 2 seconds around the playhead.
  2. Check the clip. Preview plays it in a loop. One stroke (1 to 3 seconds) gets the most precise answer.
  3. Fill in the details. Stroke (or Let the coach tell), Your level and, if you like, What do you want to improve? (optional): for example “my forehand goes long when I hit hard”.
  4. Press Review this clip. The app tracks your body, captures the frames and sends them to the coach. It usually takes 30 to 90 seconds.

What you get#

  • A summary and the coach’s confidence (high, medium or low) given what the video showed.
  • Work on: 1 to 3 changes, most important first. Each with Why, How (a feel cue for the court) and Drill, plus library drills you can add to your plan.
  • Keep doing: what not to touch.
  • Swing phases and Next session: what it saw in each phase and what to focus on next time.
  • Links to frames: click one to see exactly what it means.

Reviews are saved with the video (Reviews of this video) and their priorities show up in the AI notes of your history.

Compare yourself with a pro#

When a pro is open in Compare and the videos are synced, the tab offers a second mode: vs …. The coach looks at 6 matched moments of both strokes side by side (you on the left) and tells you what the pro does differently, what’s worth borrowing and what not to copy, moment by moment.

What’s sent#

Only about 10 cropped still frames of the selected stroke and your body measurements. The AI never gets your video, even when it’s saved in your account. See Privacy and data.

Usage limits#

Each account has a monthly allowance of AI requests. Stroke reviews, comparisons with a pro, plans to get there and progress reviews all count. The allowance renews on the 1st of every month.

  • The tab shows how many you’ve used: AI this month: … of …. Your account shows it too, under Usage.
  • When you reach the limit, the app tells you the date it renews.
